Student Poster Competition

We are offering the opportunity for students to showcase their own project work in the student poster competition.   This competition requires entrants to summarise their technical, research or production based project in the form of A1 size poster. Projects must be individual, rather than group based projects.

PLEASE NOTE – YOU MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE CONFERENCE TO ENTER THE COMPETITION.

There are 3 categories of entry:

  1. Further Education projects – open to any students on an FE course (may be either a technical or a creative project)
  2. Higher education (Technical) projects – open to undergraduate students whose project focuses on technical development or scientific research in audio.
  3. Higher education (Creative) projects – open to undergraduate students whose project focuses on creative practice or creative research in audio.

 

Please bring your printed poster to the event and present this at registration. You will be directed to where these will be displayed. The poster should be A1 sized in Portrait format, printed on a single sheet of paper. Do not opzioni binarie print using A4 sheets and stick together. The poster should be prepared using graphics/publishing software and printed. Hand drawn posters are NOT acceptable. The poster header should contain your name, poster title, institution of study.

Student Recording Competition

You are invited to submit your recordings, mixes and productions for critique and feedback from our panel of experts.

Audio files should be submitted on USB stick at registration. Audio files should be WAV file format of 44.1kHz and 16 bit as a minimum. Stereo and 5.1 surround files are both accepted.

Critique sessions will take place on Sunday afternoon in Recording Studio 3. You can sign up for one of the sessions at the registration desk.

 

Prizes

Prizes are on offer from Acustica and Izotope for the best work in all competitions.
